Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Purpose

RGPDCheck is a technological platform for self-assessment and information about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related legislation. It does not constitute a law firm nor provide legal advice services.

2. Definitions

  • User: person who accesses or uses RGPDCheck.
  • Expert: verified professional who offers services through the marketplace.
  • Credits: pay-per-use unit for the AI chatbot and reports.
  • Lead: potential user who requests contact with an expert.

3. Registration and Account

To access advanced features (unlimited chatbot, PDF reports, marketplace) registration is required. You can do so via email or Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

4. Services

  • Web Scanner: free self-assessment tool. Results are indicative and do not replace a professional audit.
  • AI Chatbot: provides general information about legislation. NOT LEGAL ADVICE. Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or be outdated. Do not make legal decisions based solely on the chatbot.
  • PDF Reports: automatically generated enriched documents. Their value is informational.
  • Marketplace: intermediation platform between users and verified experts. RGPDCheck is not responsible for services provided by experts.

5. Payments and Credits

Payments are processed through Stripe. Credits are personal and non-transferable. We do not issue refunds except for technical errors attributable to us. Prices include VAT where applicable.

6. Intellectual Property

All RGPDCheck content (code, design, texts, trademarks) is the property of the owner. PDF reports generated for the user become their property once paid for, but may not be resold.

7. Limitation of Liability

RGPDCheck is an information technology tool. We are NOT lawyers. We do NOT provide legal advice. Use of the platform does not create an attorney-client relationship. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for sanctions, damages, or losses arising from decisions made based on information provided by the platform, chatbot, or reports.

For specific legal advice, hire a verified expert through the marketplace.

8. User Conduct

It is prohibited to:

  • Use the scanner to attack, damage, or overload third-party servers.
  • Impersonate another user or expert.
  • Enter third-party personal data without consent.
  • Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the code or content without authorization.

9. Modifications

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the new terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or cancel your account for breach of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time from your user panel. Unused credits are not refundable in case of voluntary cancellation.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the Courts of [CITY — FILL IN], with express waiver of any other jurisdiction that may apply.
